Harmony is here to support and encourage you during your homeschool journey. Harmony isn’t a Co-op. Our purpose of Harmony is to provide support, encouragement, prayer and fellowship for Christian homeschooling families. We know how important it is to you to raise your children up in the ways of the Lord. Our goal is to come together in unity and encourage and pray with one another.
Coming together; bring different people together
God’s word says in John 11:52 And that this be encouragement to each of us “And not only for that nation, but to bring together and unite all the children of God scattered around the world.”
“Educating the mind without educating the heart is no education at all.”
You must shepherd your child’s heart above everything else in God’s word, especially in today’s world. ~Millie Juarez
One of the most of the important things about homeschooling and Millie mentioned this as well, that we also want to make sure above all else that your husbands are in agreement about homeschooling the children. Husbands need to fully understand the reasons for homeschooling. Regardless if your married or single parent, we need to understand that above anything else that your home is Christ centered. It cannot be taken lightly.
“Children are a gift from the Lord; they are a reward from him. Children born to a young man are like arrows in a warrior’s hands.” Psalm 127: 3-4
We are called as parents to equip our children in the ways of the Lord. In Proverbs 22:6 says Direct your children onto the right path, and when they are older; they will not leave it. Don’t be afraid, the Lord has a calling for each one of us! We will be here for you and come along side you!
