• MEALS ON WHEELS - We're back and ready to serve the body of The Ark Montebello. If you are in need and fit the following criteria, please call our Main Office at 323-724-8464. 1) Meals are ONLY for The Ark Families who have a need. 2) Recipients requesting meals must call Main Office. 3) No family or friends allowed to call on behalf of recipients.

• ARKIETECHS: AUDIO & VIDEO MINISTRY - Do you have a passion for working with video or sound? Perhaps you don't have any experience but want to learn how to bless God's people by helping get His Word out via LiveWebcast, On Demand content or our On The Level Radio program...if so, please visit our Main Office and fill out a Ministry Questionnaire today! We'll be happy to have you part of our team!
• PARKING MINISTRY - Have you been attending The Ark for more than six months now and have been praying about serving? Parking Ministry is looking for helpers with a heart to serve and are interested, please fill out a Ministry Questionnaire and return it to the Main Office.

• WOMEN'S USHER & GREETER MINISTRY - The Women's Ministry is starting a new ministry to serve at our events. If you have been thinking about serving but not sure where, prayerfully consider serving in this ministry. Pick up a questionnaire from Main Office, fill out and return it to the office. Make sure you specify "Women's Usher/Greeter.

BEREAVEMENT: HOPE IN CHRIST

• MINISTRY FOR THOSE COPING WITH LOSS - This group will help with lots of prayer and scriptures to learn the process of grieving with the seasons that will come with lots of emotions and feeling. We will walk the Scriptures with you and how God can use this season of life to be able to help other people with the strength He has given to these who have gone through the experience of death. If more support is needed privately, please contact our Main Office.

BIBLE STUDIES

• TUESDAY NIGHT BIBLE STUDY: BACK TO BASICS: THE BOOK OF GENESIS - This class is intended to help us have a better understand the Book of Genesis. Our interactive class welcomes your questions. Come learn and have fun!
• FRIDAY NIGHT BIBLE STUDY: EQUIPPING THE SAINTS: THE  BOOK OF MATTHEW & MARK - Our Friday night class studying the Book of Matthew meets in Children's Worship Area from 7:00 - 8:30pm. Open to anyone 16 years and older.
• SENIOR SON RISE BIBLE STUDY - Our objective is to reach out, support and encourage our older adults, stirring their gifts through worship, God's Word, prayer and fellowship. Sweets, coffee and water will be provided. We meet at 10:00am here at The Ark, every last Friday of the month. Our 2024 schedule is as follows: 11/22 & 12/20

BARNABAS MINISTRY

• SEPARATED & DIVORCED MEN - This is a support group from men that are suffering from separation issues. Every Tuesday from 7:00-8:30pm.

CHILDREN'S MINISTRY

• CHRISTMAS CHOIR - We are now taking sign ups for our children's Christmas choir for 5 year olds up to 5th grade. Please see teacher Desiree at 1st & 2nd Grade Class in Building 1 Education Area to sign up or for more information.

CONNECT: CAREER AGE GROUP

• FELLOWSHIP FOR 26-35 YEAR OLDS - Join us as we gather and connect with everyone ages 26-35 years old. Meeting every other Friday at The Ark. For more info, follow us on Instagram @connect_theark!

ROOTED: COLLEGE AGE GROUP

• GATHERINGS FOR 18-25 YEAR OLDS - Are you 18-25 years old and looking to connect with others your age at The Ark? You do not have to be attending college to attend! Come on out, grow in your faith, and stay for some quality fellowship! Please call the Main Office or DM our Instagram @rootedyoungadults_theark for dates and locations.

EMBRACE HER

• FOR SEPARATED OR DIVORCED WOMEN - Embrace Her is a ministry where you'll find a community of women who come alongside you as you find healing in the midst of separation or divorce through God's Word. Our next meeting takes place at The Ark Montebello on Fridays. Upcoming dates: December 13

FMO: MEN'S MINISTRY

• FOR MEN ONLY BIBLE STUDY: 2 SAMUEL - Men, study God's Word with us Monday evenings at 7:00pm at The Ark. We'll meet for a time of worship, prayer and encouragement via God's Word.

MARRIAGE MINISTRY

• TABLE TALK: MARITAL SUPPORT GROUP - Whether you are having marital issues or not, we invite you to an evening of conversation among newly and seasoned and married couples. We meet on the last Monday of every other month at 7:00pm. Our next meeting will be held on Monday, November 25 in Children's Lounge.
• PRE-MARITAL CLASSES - Couples, have you been attending The Ark for 9 months regularly as a couple and are planning to get married or renew your vows? If The Ark Montebello is the home church for the both of you and you would like to get married or renew your vows here, please call our Main Office at 323-724-8464 and leave your name and phone number so we can contact you regarding pre and post marital resources at The Ark Montebello.

PRAYER

• MONTHLY PRAYER & FASTING - Would you like to join us in our monthly meeting of prayer and fasting? It’s a time to lift up our burdens to the Lord, pray, worship, anoint with oil those that are sick, and have communion together as a family. When should you start fasting? It’s totally up to you! You can fast one, two, or seven days before Friday, December 13 at 6:30pm but we will end our fasting on this evening by having communion. These nights are held every second Friday of each month.
• MOMS IN PRAYER - Inviting and welcoming ALL mothers, grandmothers, aunts, sisters to have a profound impact on your children and their schools. Enjoy a time of fellowship, prayer, and engagement for our children over the phone every Saturday from 9:00-10:00am. Call 323-253-1219 to join our prayer.

QUENCH

• A PLACE FOR THOSE STRUGGLING WITH ADDICTION - We are a fellowship of men and women who, through the power of Jesus, seek freedom from the sin we call addiction. We believe a person can be freed from this bondage through the power of God’s indwelling Holy Spirit and the application of His Word to our lives. Held every Friday at 7:00pm. Must be 18 and over.

SENIOR SONRISE MINISTRY

• MONTHLY PRAYER WALK - Walk, Talk and Pray at the Shops at Montebello with us on Wednesday, December 11 at 9:00am. Let's share the love of Christ with others at our local mall!

STREET WITNESSING MINISTRY

• SHARING THE GOSPEL WITH A HEART OF COMPASSION - Please come and join us at The Heart of Compassion located at the corner of Maple Ave & Mines Ave for two days of evangelism, November 23 & December 21. Come and help us tell the world that Jesus saves!

WOMEN'S MINISTRY

• BIBLE STUDY - Ladies 16 and over, please join us Tuesday nights as we learn about the power of the Holy Spirit in our lives. Studies  held through May 13. We will take a break for the month of December and resume January. No childcare provided.
• FRESH START - Our free women’s support group for weight control meets from 7:00-8:30pm on Mondays, through November 18 here at The Ark Montebello. Gain an appetite for the Lord through the Word of God, prayer, a Word study, and journaling. Learn to control eating habits as we journey together sharing victories, recipes, meal planning, counting calories, and exercise. This is not a diet; it is a journey to a Healthy Lifestyle! Must be 12 years & older to participate.
• HIS STAR CHRISTMAS BRUNCH & BOUTIQUE - He is the Light of Salvation. Psalm 27:1. December 7 & 8. Sign-up at Women's Info Center. Space is limited. $15 (Saturday entry & brunch) $35 for Crafter's Table Spot. Women ages 16+.
• MEET ME AT THE ALTAR - Ladies, the Women's Ministry cordially invites you to "Meet Me at the Altar" conference on Friday, June 27 at 6:00pm and Saturday, June 28 from 9:30am - 1:00pm. We are living in the last days and Jesus can return for His Bride at any moment. Would Jesus take us as we are now or leave us at the altar? Being a bride is not just accepting Jesus, it's being committed to Him and abiding by His statutes. We encourage you to join us as we dive into deeper intimacy with the Lord and discuss how we can meet Him at the Altar.
• TIMES OF REFRESHING - Ladies, join us for devotions in God's Word followed by group discussion and prayer. Come and be refreshed in the Lord every last Tuesday of the month at 10:00am.
• WOMEN'S SUPPORT GROUP - Women's Support Group at The Ark provides a haven for women who are in need of prayer and Biblical advice. No cost or sign up necessary. We meet on the 1st & 3rd Monday of the month at 6:30pm. If you cannot attend in person, we also offer Zoom meeting at 6:00pm (call us at 626-786-4472 for details).

YOUTH MINISTRY

• YOUTH WINTER CAMP - Retreat: The process of receding from a position to a place affording peace, quiet & shelter. Our Jr High & High Schoolers will be heading to Camp Cedar Crest in Running Springs, January 10-12! Cost is $180 for a weekend of food, fun, worship and The Word! Sign up today in High School Room.
• TGIF: YOUTH ON FRIDAY NIGHTS - Students grades 6th - 12th are highly encouraged to come join us every 2nd & 4th Friday of the month at 6:30pm to go through studies every student needs to know before leaving high school. These Friday night sessions will help you connect with others, encourage your faith, and you'll have a blast! It's free so invite a friend!
• YOUTH MINISTRY SUNDAYS - Jr High & High Schoolers, come join us for our verse by verse study thru the Book of 2 Corinthians on Sunday mornings. Bring a friend!
