  • MLK JR DAY - Hey Arkies! Just a quick note...The Ark will be closed all day in observance of Martin Luther King Jr Day, Monday, January 20. Blessings to you all!
  • ARISE AND SHINE 7:30AM SUNDAY SERVICE - If you're an early bird, come out to Building 3 at 7:30am for an intimate setting for Sunday Morning Service. This service will be in-person only (sorry, no Children's Ministry or webcast for this service time).
  • SPANISH SERVICE - Bring your Spanish speaking family and friends to our interactive Estudio Biblico en Español. We are going through the Book of Revelation every Friday at 7:00pm. We will study the Book of Revelation. You can watch our study live on The Ark Montebello's Facebook Live.   • MEALS ON WHEELS - We're back and ready to serve the body of The Ark Montebello. If you are in need and fit the following criteria, please call our Main Office at 323-724-8464. 1) Meals are ONLY for The Ark Families who have a need. 2) Recipients requesting meals must call Main Office. 3) No family or friends allowed to call on behalf of recipients.

  • CHILDREN'S MINISTRY - Is your heart being stirred to serve in our Children's Ministry? Come be blessed in our Special Needs Class. No experience necessary. All training will be provided. Pick up a Ministry Questionnaire at the Main Office.
  • ARKIETECHS: AUDIO & VIDEO MINISTRY - Do you have a passion for working with video or sound? Perhaps you don't have any experience but want to learn how to bless God's people by helping get His Word out via Live Webcast, On Demand content or our On The Level Radio program...if so, please visit our Main Office and fill out a Ministry Questionnaire today! We'll be happy to have you part of our team!
  • PARKING MINISTRY - Have you been attending The Ark for more than six months now and have been praying about serving? Parking Ministry is looking for helpers with a heart to serve and are interested, please fill out a Ministry Questionnaire and return it to the Main Office.

BEREAVEMENT: HOPE IN CHRIST
  • MINISTRY FOR THOSE COPING WITH LOSS - This group will help with lots of prayer and scriptures to learn the process of grieving with the seasons that will come with lots of emotions and feeling. We will walk the Scriptures with you and how God can use this season of life to be able to help other people with the strength He has given to these who have gone through the experience of death. If more support is needed privately, please contact our Main Office. We meet every Monday at 7:00pm.

BIBLE STUDIES
  • TUESDAY NIGHT BIBLE STUDY: BACK TO BASICS: THE BOOK OF GENESIS - This class is intended to help us have a better understand the Book of Genesis. Our interactive class welcomes your questions. Come learn and have fun!
  • FRIDAY NIGHT BIBLE STUDY: EQUIPPING THE SAINTS: THE  BOOK OF LUKE & JOHN - Our Friday night class studying the Book of Luke & John meets in Children's Worship Area from 7:00 - 8:30pm. Open to anyone 16 years and older.
  • SENIOR SON RISE BIBLE STUDY - Our objective is to reach out, support and encourage our older adults, stirring their gifts through worship, God's Word, prayer and fellowship. Sweets, coffee and water will be provided. We meet at 10:00am here at The Ark, every last Friday of the month.

BARNABAS MINISTRY
  • SEPARATED & DIVORCED MEN - This is a support group from men that are suffering from separation issues. Every Tuesday from 7:00-8:30pm.

ROOTED: COLLEGE AGE GROUP
  • GATHERINGS FOR 18-25 YEAR OLDS - Are you 18-25 years old and looking to connect with others your age at The Ark? You do not have to be attending college to attend! EMBRACE HER
  • FOR SEPARATED OR DIVORCED WOMEN - Embrace Her is a ministry where you'll find a community of women who come alongside you as you find healing in the midst of separation or divorce through God's Word. Our next meeting takes place at The Ark Montebello on Fridays. Upcoming dates: February 14, March 14, April 11, May 9, June 13, July 11, August 8, September 12, October 10, and November 14.

FMO: MEN'S MINISTRY
  • FOR MEN ONLY BIBLE STUDY: LIVING WATER BY CHUCK SMITH - Men, study God's Word with us Monday evenings at 7:00pm at The Ark.  We will begin studying Living Water, by Chuck Smith. Cost is $15.00 (includes book & workbook). We'll meet for a time of worship, prayer and encouragement via God's Word.

MARRIAGE MINISTRY
  • WORSHIP NIGHT FOR MARRIED COUPLES - Come join us as we worship together as couples on Friday, January 24, May 23 and August 22 at 7:00pm here at The Ark.
  • I CHOOSE LOVE: MARRIED & ENGAGED COUPLES VALENTINES DINNER - Saturday, February 8 from 5:30 - 9:30pm at The Mission Square Restaurant in Whittier. $140.00 per couple with limited space. Registration only online by clicking this link.
  • TABLE TALK: MARITAL SUPPORT GROUP - Whether you are having marital issues or not, we invite you to an evening of conversation among newly and seasoned and married couples. We meet on the last Monday of every other month at 7:00pm. Our next meeting will be held on Monday, January 27 in Children's Lounge.
  • PRE-MARITAL CLASSES - Couples, have you been attending The Ark for 9 months regularly as a couple and are planning to get married or renew your vows? If The Ark Montebello is the home church for the both of you and you would like to get married or renew your vows here, please call our Main Office at 323-724-8464 and leave your name and phone number so we can contact you regarding pre and post marital resources at The Ark Montebello.

PRAYER
  • MONTHLY PRAYER & FASTING - Would you like to join us in our monthly meeting of prayer and fasting? It’s a time to lift up our burdens to the Lord, pray, worship, anoint with oil those that are sick, and have communion together as a family. When should you start fasting? It’s totally up to you! You can fast one, two, or seven days before Friday, February 14 at 6:30pm but we will end our fasting on this evening by having communion. These nights are held every second Friday of each month.
  • MOMS IN PRAYER - Inviting and welcoming ALL mothers, grandmothers, aunts, sisters to have a profound impact on your children and their schools. Enjoy a time of fellowship, prayer, and engagement for our children over the phone every Saturday from 9:00-10:00am. Call 323-253-1219 to join our prayer.

QUENCH
  • A PLACE FOR THOSE STRUGGLING WITH ADDICTION - We are a fellowship of men and women who, through the power of Jesus, seek freedom from the sin we call addiction. We believe a person can be freed from this bondage through the power of God’s indwelling Holy Spirit and the application of His Word to our lives. Held every Friday at 7:00pm. Must be 18 and over.

SENIOR SONRISE MINISTRY
  • MONTHLY PRAYER WALK - Walk, Talk and Pray at the Shops at Montebello with us on Wednesday, February 12 at 9:00am. Let's share the love of Christ with others at our local mall!
  • MONTHLY BIBLE STUDY - Every last Friday of the month (with exception of holidays). Our objective is to reach out, support and encourage our older adults, stirring their gifts through worship, God's Word, prayer and fellowship. Sweets, coffee and water will be provided. We meet at 10:00am here at The Ark, every last Friday of the month. Our 2025 schedule is as follows: 1/31, 2/28, 3/28, 4/25, 5/30, 6/27, 7/25, 8/29, 9/26, 10/31, 11/21 & 12/19.

WOMEN'S MINISTRY
  • LET'S TALK: WALKING WITH JESUS - SAVE THE DATE: Ladies 14 years and up! Saturday, February 8th at 10:00am, $25 per person. For ladies 14 years and up. Register here today!
  • BIBLE STUDY - Ladies 16 and over, please join us Tuesday nights as we learn about the power of the Holy Spirit in our lives. Studies  held through May 13. No childcare provided.
  • MEET ME AT THE ALTAR - Ladies, the Women's Ministry cordially invites you to "Meet Me at the Altar" conference on Friday, June 27 at 6:00pm and Saturday, June 28 from 9:30am - 1:00pm. We are living in the last days and Jesus can return for His Bride at any moment. Would Jesus take us as we are now or leave us at the altar? Being a bride is not just accepting Jesus, it's being committed to Him and abiding by His statutes. We encourage you to join us as we dive into deeper intimacy with the Lord and discuss how we can meet Him at the Altar.
  • TIMES OF REFRESHING - Ladies, join us for devotions in God's Word followed by group discussion and prayer. Come and be refreshed in the Lord every last Tuesday of the month at 10:00am.
  • WOMEN'S SUPPORT GROUP - Women's Support Group at The Ark provides a haven for women who are in need of prayer and Biblical advice. No cost or sign up necessary. We meet on the 1st & 3rd Monday of the month at 6:30pm. If you cannot attend in person, we also offer Zoom meeting at 6:00pm (call us at 626-786-4472 for details).

YOUTH MINISTRY
  • TGIF: YOUTH ON FRIDAY NIGHTS - Students grades 6th - 12th are highly encouraged to come join us every 2nd & 4th Friday of the month at 6:30pm to go through studies every student needs to know before leaving high school. These Friday night sessions will help you connect with others, encourage your faith, and you'll have a blast! It's free so invite a friend!
  • YOUTH MINISTRY SUNDAYS - Jr High & High Schoolers, come join us for our verse by verse study thru the Book of 2 Corinthians on Sunday mornings. Bring a friend!
